Eternum provides various composite bearings for heavy and/or water-lubricated applications. Eternum D-Glide is at the state of the art self-lubricating composite, very resistant to wear under heavy load. They have proven very long life-span in mechanical heavy/water-related applications. Available in form of bushings, bearings, flange bearings, cutlass bearings, wear pads, washers, spherical bearings, pivot bearing, insulated ring and more.

Composite bearings properties and benefits

self-lubricated : no maintenance/lubrication required
very high load capacity (up to 355 MPA)
ultra-resistant to wear thanks to its synthetic fiber
low friction coefficients (down to 0,04 in dry-run contidions)

Mechanical properties of ETERNUM D-GLIDE F grade :

Compressive strength	355MPA (=N/mm²)
Wear	Extremely resistant to wear
Self-lubricated (polytetrafluoroethylene-Teflon), graphite, or molybdenum)	Runs dry or immersed or patially submerged, with or without additionnal lubricant
Friction coefficient	Between 0,04 and 0,12 (in dry run conditions)
Chemical resistance	Impervious to acidic as well as many chemical products
Young’s modulus	Shock load and vibration friendly
Running temperatures	Between -200°C and 180°C

Eternum D-Glide pieces are normally delivered tailor-made for your application, ready to be mounted. They come in shape of bushings, plain bearings with or without flange, washers, pads, pivot bearings, spherical bearings. We can also provide raw material in tubes and sheets, thanks to our large stock in France. Raw material comes at an extra cost, to be preferred for urgent/emergency cases.

Our engineers will systematically help you to size, to select your grades, to calculate the running clearances, and mounting methods.
