Graphalloy graphite bushings are high performance graphite+metal alloys produced by Graphite Metallizing Corporation.
Specially designed for anti-friction applications : plain bearings, shaft guidings, flange bushings, wear parts, CAM FOLLOWERS, stop parts, PUMP BUSHINGS.

Graphite bushings advantages
Self-lubricating | Requires no grease or oil. Allows continuous operation and eliminates downtime. |
Extreme temperatures | Works at high and low temperatures between -240°c and 525°C |
Chemically resistant | Stable in most industrial liquids. Works in acids, alkalies, hydrocarbons, water, and liquid gases. |
Dimensionally stable | Does not cold flow or deform under pressure. Maintains its size and shape. |
« FDA Accepted » | Accepted for food services. No lubrication to drip or cleanup. Easily steam cleaned. |
Graphalloy® is a corrosion resistant metal-graphite alloy, in rotating machinery such as pump and mixers, it allows long dry-run conditions (1 hour at 3350rpm) as well as start-stop repeated dry conditions without damage to the shaft.

Keeps its shape in all conditions Extreme temperatures Runs-dry and keeps on running Many type of fluids accepted (acids, hydrocarbures, etc) API 610 (12th edition) compatible NSF & WRAS Certified |
Catalog
Graphalloy graphite bushings are made of roughly 45% of graphite + 55% of metal. We commonly use Babbitt, copper, nickel, bronze, steel as metals. They build up a catalog of more than one hundred grades (see the basic list below).
They are usually tailor-made, ready to be mounted, but we can also provide raw materials with machining guidelines.
There is no quantity limit, from one piece to several hundreds.
Since Graphalloy is a good electrical conductor, we also offer mini-bearings (less than five millimeters), especially produced for electrical applications.

Installation
Here comes a little video to help you mount Graphalloy in your housing :
To sum up :
- All our bushings are mounted tight in their housings,
- the 45° chamfer will help to position the bushing,
- it is advised to dip the bushings in the water prior to the mounting,
- a manual press is enough for small bushings,
- a mechanical press may be required for larger bushings,
- do not stop in the process of mounting,
- Feel free to call us or reach us by e-mail if you have any doubt !
